Began as MJ Roasting. Roasted on air.
BuildABLE Beans began as MJ Roasting, the roastery behind Mama’s Java, a family-run cafe in Nolensville since 2010. The coffee is roasted on a Sivetz fluid-bed air roaster in a glassed-in roasting room, one of very few large-capacity air roasters in the United States.
Air roasting moves the beans on a column of hot air instead of tumbling them against hot metal. The result is an even roast and a cup that is consistently smooth: never bitter, never burnt.
